What Happens When You Have No Auto Insurance?

When you are involved in an accident that is not your fault, will the other party’s insurance provider pay for the repairs on your car? The answer is yes! That is assuming the insurance policy of the party at fault is carrying basic liability coverage which will assume the responsibility for the damages caused by their client.
However, if the coverage is shared, then the insurance provider will cover their client’s portion of the damage but will only cover your portion if the driver at fault has uninsured motorist insurance. Whatever the situation of the other party is, the best way to secure yourself is to have ample auto insurance for your vehicle.
